Our Lady of Fátima,

The Visionaries:

On May 13, 1917, three young shepherd children—Lucia dos Santos (aged 9) and her cousins Francisco (aged 8) and Jacinta Marto (aged 6)—were tending sheep in central Portugal, approximately 70 miles northeast of Lisbon.

During their pastoral duties, they had a vision of a radiant woman surrounded by light. This celestial figure identified herself as the Lady of the Rosary.

Subsequent Apparitions:

Following the initial event, the children reported seeing the vision five more times, once each month through to October 13.

During these appearances, Our Lady of Fátima conveyed three secrets to the children.

She repeatedly exhorted them to pray the rosary for world peace and emphasized the necessity of devotions to her Immaculate Heart for the salvation of souls.

Whilst all visitations are significant, here July 13 1917 is important for this presentation.

Our Lady of Fatima gave these children three secrets one of which mentioned Russia.

On July 13, 1917, during the Fatima apparition, Our Lady conveyed several important messages to the shepherd children in Portugal. Here are the key points she shared:

Devotion to Her Immaculate Heart: Our Lady emphasized that to save sinners, God desires the establishment of devotion to her Immaculate Heart in the world.

Consecration of Russia: She revealed that she would later ask for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart. This aspect of the message is often referred to as the “other part of the Secret.”

(She subsequently returned to Lucia on June 13 1929 to ask for this consecration.)

Communion of Reparation on First Saturdays: Our Lady instructed the children to participate in the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. This practice involves receiving Holy Communion with the intention of making reparation for offenses committed against her Immaculate Heart.

Vision of Hell: During this apparition, Our Lady also showed the children a vision of hell. She explained that devotion to her Immaculate Heart could help save souls from this fate.

Prediction of Future Events: Our Lady foretold that the ongoing war would eventually end. However, she warned that if humanity continued to offend God, a more terrible war would follow. She even mentioned a specific sign: a night illuminated by a strange and unknown light, which occurred on January 25, 1938, as a prelude to future events. (January 25 is the birthday of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.)

Official Recognition:

Initially, the Vatican questioned the authenticity of the children's visions.

However, in 1930, the Roman Catholic Church officially recognized the Fátima events as worthy of belief.

Fátima became one of the greatest Marian shrines in the world, visited by thousands of pilgrims each year.

The Basilica at Fátima, consecrated in 1953, stands as a testament to these extraordinary events. Its tower, soaring 65 meters (213 feet) high, is crowned with a large bronze crown and a crystal cross.

On June 13, 1929,

Our Lady of Fátima reappeared to deliver the momentous message to Sister Lucy in Tuy, Spain. In a sublime vision representing the Blessed Trinity, she announced:

“The moment has come for God to ask the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the

Consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart.”

Our Lady promised that through this act of consecration, Russia would be converted, and peace would be granted to the world. However, despite several consecrations of the world by various popes, none have fulfilled the specific requirements set forth by Our Lord and Our Lady. Many insist that it is Russia (and Russia only) that must be the object of this public act of obedience and prayer. Furthermore, the Holy Father is to be joined by all the Catholic bishops of the world on the same day and at the same time in their respective dioceses for this consecration

Our Lady of La Salette (France : feast, Sept 19 [19/9]), Emmanuel Macron and Winston Churchill enter the fray.

On June 26, ( N.B. 6/26 or 26/6) 2000, the Vatican released what they claim to be the “third part” of the Secret of Fatima, given by Our Lady to the three shepherd children on July 13, 1917, but this text contains no actual words of Our Lady indicated by the “etc.”. The text that the Vatican released is as follows:

After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: Penance, Penance, Penance!. And we saw in an immense light that is God: something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it a Bishop dressed in White we had the impression that it was the Holy Father. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels, each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.

There are many reasons for stating that the above text cannot be the whole Third Secret.

The message of Our Lady of La Salette and Our Lady of Fatima are very similar in content.

Our Lady of La Salette is a Marian apparition that occurred Sep 19, 1846 in the French Alps. The Virgin Mary appeared to two shepherd children, Maximin Giraud and Melanie Calvat, delivering a message of warning and mercy. She was described as weeping and wearing a radiant white dress with a golden crucifix. The apparition conveyed the importance of honoring the Sabbath, showing respect for God's name, and avoiding blasphemy. Our Lady of La Salette also spoke of the need for repentance, fasting, and prayer to avert divine punishment. Her message emphasized the significance of maintaining faith, devotion, and living a virtuous life. The apparition at La Salette has since become a pilgrimage site, attracting millions of believers seeking spiritual guidance and solace.
