Richard D Hall and Marianna Spring have a relationship that is marked by “conflict and controversy”. Richard D Hall is a “conspiracy theorist”, who claims that several UK terror attacks, including the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing, were staged by the government and the media.

He has written a book called – “Manchester, The Night Of The Bang”. From his website on the date 27th March 2020, this book was made available to the public.

He is being sued for Libel.

Marianna (Claire) Spring, [middle name Claire is on her Tik Tok account] is a BBC journalist who specializes in disinformation and social media. She has investigated Richard D Hall's activities in a BBC podcast series - DISASTER TROLLS, and a BBC documentary - DISASTER DENIERS - HUNTING THE TROLLS. A podcast is to be aired called Marianna in Conspiracyland on 12 June 2023. She has confronted Richard D Hall, about his ideas, at his market stall, (on 10/7 - 7th October), where he sells books and DVDs promoting his theories. She has also interviewed some of the people, who are seeking legal action against him. She has challenged his claims and highlighted the possible harm he has caused to people who have already suffered trauma and loss
